my favourite time
is night time
when its time to go to bed
this is when everything comes alive
i light the candles
bugs emerge and hover
we want to sing
buzzz...
its not yet midnight
come out and look at the moon
it is full
shhh...
be carefull not to wake the neighbours
i've lost my slipper
does it really matter
no
so leave it till later
a midnight feast
to lay out upon the lawn
for one and many
i count the stars
till i fall asleep
and wake
just in time
to watch the sun rise
